Statutory Warning : By the end you finish reading this post, you will be a Facebook chat pro for sure!!

1) A pretty simple trick prevailing these days..In the Facebook chat, just send in the profile id or the profile name (either user profile or a page profile -doesn't matter), and voila..the profile pic would be passed as a smiley/emoticon.
Try this - in the Facebook chat, type the profile id with 2 pairs of square braces eg,
[[mythoughts]] or [[266258707803]] would send in this page's DP/profile pic as an emoticon in Facebook chat. Example pic below.

If you need to know your profile id (just in case you have a username secured on Facebook) - read this blog post for more.

2) On similar lines, you can search for such profiles which have letters as their profile pic - Eg [[40324932642]] for letter J and so on..and combine them to get awesome text in Facebook chat.

Trying my hand at facebook profile id's and the linked viral marketing strategy being used these days-
For the last few days, I could see random posts asking users to post @[randomnumber:0] on the wall posts or comments.

With a little investigtion this could be concluded to be profile id's assigned by facebook for uniquely identifying profiles/pages etc - the same number could be substituted for random number above.

www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=randomnumber
This randomnumber redirects you to your own profile if it's 0 and to Mark Z's profile if it's 4.

Once you know which profile id to use, you can design your own magic statement saying:
Paste @[profileid:0] in the wall post/comments and see the magic!

Now, the big question is how to find the profile id for your pages/profile given the fact that facebook gave the privilege to choose a fancy username to everyone based on certain criteria (eg 25 friends or 25 likes on a fan page etc), and replaced the profile id in the URL with the facebook username.

* Old/very new/non frequent users can surely see the profile id in the URL of course*

This could be found easily if you know the username, eg, for this page:

Visit https://graph.facebook.com/mythoughts and you can see the id on the very first line as

That's it - You are ready an ace up your sleeve!!
